Homemade DIY Taco Seasoning

Making your own taco seasoning is so easy! I don’t know why stores even sell the pre-made packets. It’s cheaper to make it yourself. It tastes better too. Whats not to love?

Really, I use this spice mix for more than just tacos. It works for fajitas too. The heat level of the mix is pretty mild, usually I depend on canned tomatoes and jalepenos to add heat to the taco meat. If I’m making fajitas I just add a pinch of red pepper flake to  the meat and veggies while they are cooking to increase the heat level.
